New week, new chapter.

I have been working from home for the golf course. The course has been closed the last few days just because of the temperature. It hasn't gotten above 28° and the ground is frozen solid. Still NO snow up this way. Playing in temperatures like this do more damage to the course than the average golfer would understand. I love golf as much as the next person but you wouldn't catch me playing in this weather just for fun lol.

Tournament director is one of my main rolls at TimberStone and its something I take a lot of pride in. Not a lot of people remember all the tournaments they play in but they do remember playing in a very poorly ran tournament. I can promise you one thing, whether its a group outing, company, high level amateur, men's league, or any type of tournament, you won't be disappointed.

Tuesday night basketball. Owyhee heads to Centennial High school to take on the Patriots. Owyhee is 9-6 overall and 4-1 in conference and ranked #1 in Idaho while Centennial is 12-1 overall and 4-0 in conference and ranked #4 in Idaho. Should be a good match up and a fun game to be at. There is one thing that I took for granted at Bear River (Garland, UT), Bear River Live (or BR Live). Having free access to nearly EVERY Bear River sporting event and can go back and watch it at any time and have commentary! The local community pitching in to help fund and sponsor the streaming service. Being here in Boise and realizing what BR Live does not common at all other places. We have NFHS here and they do stream the games but you pay $80 a year and there is no commentary on anything, you might get lucky on 1 or 2 games a year. So, huge shoutout to Bear River Live in the Tremonton/Garland community.

Met up with Noah Bendinger for the Docu Series. The session went great. Such a cool dude and excited to tell his story behind the scenes. Everything was great until I got home and something that had never happened to me before happened... I had NO AUDIO. I don't know what happened. I must have accidentally turned off the transmitter while it was plugged in to my camera because I didn't even have the camera audio either. Lesson learned, check the audio after taking the clip. So now due to my mistake we have to push back our start date and re-take the first episode.

Got a late Christmas present from Titleist. Got my new custom SM11 Vokey wedges and they turned out great. Love the new look and feel of them. Makes me excited for the warm weather to get back out on the course. Was able to grind on making some new graphics for Owyhee Basketball and Bishop Kelly Lacrosse. Owyhee Seniors be on the look out for your Senior Graphics. These might be some of the coolest ones I've done so far. I also had the boys sign my iPad so that i was able to take their personal signatures and use it on the graphics. Add more of a personal touch and a realistic signature.

If any photographers are reading this what is the worst gym, arena, or any venue that you've shot in? Owyhee played at Mountain View high school and i was thinking since its somewhat of a newer school they would have some decent lights in the gym. Well, i thought wrong lol. They were so dim and a gross yellow color. Then when the game started they even turned off the lights on the sides so it was even darker... But you work with the cards you are dealt. We made it work, got some good shots still, and got Kaleb's dunk on video.

Saturday worked on videos and photos from the Friday game. Went to X golf, indoor golf facility, in Boise. This place was pretty cool. There were 6 bays and a seating area for food. Was the biggest indoor facility I've been to. In the hitting bays the balls would automatically come up from the floor onto a tee. If you were hitting from the fairway you would just simply take it off the tee and put it on the turf. The system was good and seemed accurate enough to have fun and enjoy your time.

Sunday's are for football. Went over to the in-laws to watch the 2 playoff games. As a niners fan it was tough to root for the Seahawks or the Rams. But I am a fan of Sam Darnold. It would be cool to see him win the Super Bowl just because the Vikings let him go. But would still suck watching the Seahawks hoist the Lombardi Trophy in Levi's Stadium.
