Mystery Monday. It was a beautiful day out at the course with a high of 52°!! It was a typical Monday though with not a lot of people coming out to the course even though it was the nicest day so far this year. Was able to close up shop a little early and head home around 5:45pm. Bree bought us some mystery movie tickets at the Regal theatre close to us. $5 a ticket and we didn't know what movie we were going to see. We got a large popcorn, cookie dough bites, and a Root Beer to share (our usual combo). I guessed that we were going to watch the new Dracula movie and sure enough thats what it was. Now, I'm not movie critic but that should be 1 out of 5 on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie was a total of 2 hours and 9 minutes and I'm pretty sure 2 hours of it was just a back story and 9 minutes were action. This was also supposed to be in the scary movie category and the only thing scary about it was the saliva and vomit coming out of Dracula's mouth the whole time. Long story short, I do not recommend this movie lol.

Tuesday was a productive day. I got 4 tournaments contracts signed and ready to go for the 2026 season! We are getting a second Trackman Golf Simulator in our Performance Center which they have been setting up and building. The weather was beautiful again and we had about 40 players out and probably 40 more people coming to hit range balls and practice. I can't blame them it was high 40°'s and the sun was out.

Wednesday was a packed day of video editing, graphic making, meeting with Ampersand Studios, and finished the night up with Owyhee at Capital basketball game. Edited videos and graphics for all 9 Owyhee Senior players. I think these graphics are the most fun ones I've made so far. I have a small picture printer that I am going to print out each one for the players and hand them out on Senior night, Friday. The reason I met with Ampersand Studios was to contract them out for TimberStone. To help us build a better online and social media presence. I love making videos and taking pictures but it gets super hard in the summer when I'm already working 8+ hours in the Pro Shop, running 10-15 tournaments each month, camps/clinics, and having some what of a personal life

Thursday was a day of making sure everything was ready for Owyhee's Senior Night. Along with creating graphics and videos, we got a new Trackman Simulator at TimberStone. The Trackman i0. This thing is awesome. Its overhead so there is no setup, you just turn it on, connect to the internet and good to go.

Senior night was up next. Owyhee took on Borah to finish off the regular season and their final home game in the Storm uniform. Owyhee has 9 seniors and some games it gets tough to play every player. The cool part about this night was they started 5 new starters that were all seniors. The Storm came out firing as Jack started the night off with a corner 3 and from then on they never looked back. Dominating the whole night and winning 60-22.

At this point in time I think we fully skipped winter 2025-26, even spring 2026, and went straight to summer. It was nearly 60° on Saturday and we had 155 players at TimberStone. I wasn't supposed to work but went and helped out in the shop because I know how hectic it gets in the shop when you're by yourself with that many people coming to the course. They day went pretty smooth and it was honestly too beautiful to not play golf.

Super Bowl Sunday. Bree and I went over to her parents to watch the Super Bowl. We got some Idaho Pizza and just watched the game. As a Niner fan, yes it did suck watching Seattle win at Levi's Stadium. I was a fan of Sam Darnold winning the Super Bowl though, especially after how the Vikings let him go in free agency and honestly how his career started at the Jets. Plus, I didn't want the Patriots to win this fast after a "re-build" lol.

Side note, Bree and I have been binging a few series on shows on Netflix, Disney, and Prime. We've been watching Tell Me Lies, Mind Hunter, Fear Factor, and The Beast in Me. Highly recommend all of them. Tell Me Lies is definitely a little crazy. Mind Hunter is about the FBI when they started to interview serial killers before they were called that. It is very interesting and honestly sucks that its only 2 season. Hopefully it blows up and they continue making it at some point but it was made in 2019. The new Fear Factor with Johnny Knoxville on Disney is honestly pretty good. Reminds me of watching it at my grandmas when I was a little kid. The Beast in Me starts off really slow but picks up. It has a lot twists and turns. It keeps you on your toes and guessing what is coming next. The dude that plays Nile is really creepy though lol. If you have any good psychological thrillers, action, murder mystery type shows let me know what to watch next.
